In her role as Associate Director for Student Life, Francesca is responsible for all student related support including student safety, campus life, health services, student’s wellbeing, and housing. She coordinates the “on-call” emergency response/crisis management system, serving on the TUR emergency team and addressing conduct and community standards violations.
 
As Temple Rome’s Deputy Title IX Coordinator, Francesca works closely with Main Campus to ensure compliance with all aspects of the Title IX process. She works to educate the Temple Rome community about their role in this process and creates programming to ensure awareness of this important topic.
 
Francesca also oversees all aspects of the Temple Rome Entry Year program including program development, curriculum delivery, promotion, and recruitment. She handles all pre-departure communication with students and on-site orientation for the freshman and their families. She serves as the academic advisor and point person for first year students to ensure their successful academic progression.
 
Francesca was born and raised in Bari, Italy, but her quest for an international education brought her to live in Milan, Belgium, New York and other cities in the last ten years.
 
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Milan and a Master’s degree from St. John’s University, both in International Relations and International Law. Before coming to Temple Rome, Francesca worked in international admissions and recruitment and has traveled extensively to recruit students from all over the world.
 
Francesca feels very strongly about the opportunities and advantages that studying abroad provides, and her mission is to help all students have a transformative experience in Rome and become engaged global citizens.
 
In her free time, she rides a motorcycle.
