Every Wednesday night, Temple Rome students get together to play soccer, or as Italians would say, calcio. Calcetto night is a great way for students to meet one another, have fun, and to work out. Some nights, Italian students will be on the field to join them.
This past week, students were divided into two teams and put their calcio skills to the test. Fellow students came to support the players and watch the competitive game. The students increased the energy by playing upbeat music from their speakers.
“Going to Calcetto night is a great way for us to stay active and meet study abroad students from Temple and other schools.” -Peter Laurens, Temple student
