This past week, Temple Rome hosted chit chat with Italians that brought together Italian and American students from different universities.
They had the opportunity to have a causal sit down and speak with one another in both English and Italian.
Attendees had a large group discussion before rotating seats and talking to each other one on one.
While enjoying refreshments, the Temple students and Italians talked about topics such as American and Italian culture, friends, and family, and cultural stereotypes and misconceptions.
This was a great way for students to practice their Italian language and to meet new Italian friends.
“This has been one of my favorite parts of the program so far.”
