Benedicta Djumpah was born and raised in Brescia, in northern Italy, to Ghanaian parents that migrated in Italy in the late 1980’s. She graduated with a Bachelor degree in International Relations and Politics at London Metropolitan University in the UK. After gaining cultural, individual and global understanding while studying and working in the UK, she moved to Rome to pursue her master’s degree in International Relations.
Based on her experience, she advocates the importance of studying abroad to improve knowledge, to learn and appreciate other cultures, but also to gain a different perspective along a better understanding about each individual culture and self.
