Born in Rome, Prof. Andrea Gallegati is a Ph.D. candidate in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics at Sapienza University of Rome. He has taught the Mechanics of Solids course for Engineers at Temple University, Rome Campus. He has been a teaching assistant for the Mathematical Analysis and Linear Algebra courses at Sapienza University. His research field is in multiphase computational fluid dynamics and turbulence. His activity is focused on modelling and understanding the nucleation and condensation of droplets, within turbulent vapour flows.
