Prof. Jocelyn Cortese is currently an adjunct professor of business at Temple University, Rome campus. She is also the president and founder of J Consulting LLC, a private consulting company that specializes in international business development, strategic direction, marketing, sales, and risk assessment with a client base that extends across wine import/export, international security, and defense. Prior positions include Vice President of International Sales for a luxury Swiss Wine Broker charged with created an international sales & marketing expansion program for the luxury wine market. This came after an extensive career as an International Business Development Director for 10 years with Lockheed Martin Corporation, where she worked international and classified projects for national defense and civil security market development. Before joining Lockheed Martin, she worked for the United States Government Accountability Office as an analyst in Defense Capabilities, International Affairs & Trade and with the Office of Special Investigations. While at the GAO, she investigated and analyzed the effectiveness and management of US Department of Defense, counter-narcotics, and foreign aid programs. She wrote legislative reports and testimonies assessing the strategies used to manage US foreign affairs funding and efficiency. She has also been studying wines for two decades between Europe and the US. She speaks fluent Italian, moderate Spanish & French, and basic Arabic and currently resides in Rome, Italy.
