Temple University Rome visits CONI’s School of Sport

A newly introduced course at Temple Rome, STHM 3222: International and Professional Sport, had the chance to visit CONI’s School of Sport here in Rome. This course is being lead by Enrico Bendoni, founder of BC Bendoni Communications.

During their visit, this group of students learned about CONI, the Italian National Olympic Committee from Rossana Ciuffetti, Director of the School of Sport, as well as Donatelli Minelli, head of International Relations and Development of Educational Activities. The students also had the chance to meet one of the top Italian fencing coaches, Giovanni Sirovich.

The International and Professional Sport class is excited for their semester ahead, visiting sport facilities around Rome and having guest lectures by Italian coaches and athletes. Next week, these owls are headed back to the School of Sport to learn more about the facilities, CONI, and their School of Sport.
