Why Rome?

I’ve always wanted to study abroad in my entire life. I went to Denmark when I was a Junior in high school and that created my love and craze for Europe and I knew that I wanted to get back. Coming here to Rome was my way to get back and experience Europe some more.

How many classes are you taking and which one is your favorite?

I am taking four classes right now. My favorite right now is international business because of my professor is really cool and I like the topics that we talk about.

Have you learned anything interesting about Rome?

Rome is a very cool city. In one of my classes, we learned that Rome had conquered a lot of Europe and most of European culture today has some relation to relation to Roman history at some point in time.

Do you have a favorite Italian word? Why?

I just like the word spaghetti – the way it’s said and I like spaghetti.

What do you hope to do after this semester is over?

Go back to school and finish out my junior year at Temple University.

Do you see yourself studying abroad again in the future?

I don’t see myself studying abroad again in the future but I do see myself working and living in Europe.

Why did you choose your major?

I chose sports management because I knew that I loved sports and I wanted to do something business related but I also wanted to keep the two together. By majoring, this allows me to stay in the management and business side of sports which is what I always wanted to do.
