This past Saturday, all students attending Temple Rome’s Spring student orientation had the opportunity to wrap up the week by traveling to Todi, Italy to experience a lovely day of sightseeing in the countryside. Todi is a medieval down located in the hilltops of central Italy, and students spent their time admiring the breathtaking views, relaxing in the Piazza del Popolo, ordering cappuccinos and getting lost on the quiet cobblestone streets.
After exploring Todi, students travelled a short 45 minutes to a castle in Titignano where they feasted on an authentic multi-course Italian meal like Queens and Kings. After a beautiful toast by Dean Hilary Link and Gianni, students enjoyed each other’s presence and made new friends over delectable and traditional Italian courses like meats + cheeses, asparagus risotto, fresh pasta, and of course, tiramisù accompanied with espresso.
Here’s to a wonderful new semester here at Temple Rome!
