Weekend Excursion - Bay of Naples

Wouldn’t it be nice to explore a different region of Italy, without having to worry about the headaches of planning and logistics? Each semester Adult Study Abroad participants are offered the chance to sign up for a weekend group trip (Friday-Sunday) entirely planned and operated by Temple University Rome. All you have to do is show up to the bus on time – we’ll take care of the rest! 

In one of our past programs we stayed overnight in the lovely coastal town of Sorrento while spending our days visiting Pompeii, Naples and Paestum alongside Prof. Anna Tuck-Scala.

Friday Excursions 

1-2 single day excursions are typically offered to each Adult Study Abroad cohort. Led by a TUR faculty member, these excursions explore nearby destinations such as Sperlonga, Tivoli, or the Sabina Hills, and include both guided tours and a lovely sit-down lunch. Additional destinations may be offered on a semester-to-semester basis.
