Born in the middle of the green Umbria and raised in Rome, after the degree at the University of Roma La Sapienza, Prof. Barbara Marchini spent a year working in Poland for an European project in the Silesia Region. Since that time she developed a strong interest for European politics and the non-formal education methodology. She worked for several NGOs and Associations, different local authorities as the Regional School Offices (of the Italian Educational Ministry) of Lazio, Veneto, Molise, and she designed and trained national and international educational activities on European topics for the European Parliament Information Office and for the Representation of the European Commission in Italy.
