Prof. Francesca Divona Pianella is a Italian language professor. She completed a Master’s Degree in Sociology at La Sapienza University in Rome with a specialization in Sociology, Environment and Territory. Divona completed a diploma in teaching Italian as a foreign language at the Centro di Lingua e Cultura Italiana Torre di Babele in Rome and a second Master’s in Teaching Italian as a foreign language at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice.
Her thesis focused on techniques to develop oral skills, with a particular focus on American students. Since 2006, Prof. Divona taught university students of various American universities in Rome and the Pontificia Università Urbaniana in the Vatican City.
She is also a frequent participant of Dilit Internation House conventions and conferences, and Alma Edizioni Workshops.
Francesca has collaborated actively in an association created to promote best practices and to teach the Italian language and culture to foreigners.
