Throughout her teaching career, Professor Agostini has focused on language as a primary form of human engagement, giving her students the tools and the confidence to reach out in a new culture. Synthesizing research from the fields of psychology, language pedagogy and nonverbal communication, she has been a leader in introducing the Communicative approach to the Italian language classrooms of Temple University Rome. She has been teaching and developing curricula in study abroad programs and at Temple Rome since 1995, after extensive experience at Parliamo Italiano, New York City’s innovative italian language school, affiliated with Hunter College.
Prof. Agostini teaches all levels of Italian language, from elementary to intermediate Italian.
