Tommaso, habilitated as associate professor, presently teaches Organization Theory and Human Resource Management at University of Tuscia (Viterbo, Italy), and Digital and Organizational Innovation at LUISS University (Rome, Italy). In the last 25 years he taught the same courses and also Information Systems Organization at the same and other Universities, Schools of management, Ph.D. programmes.

His most recent research interests are: Online Communities for collective action, Influence of digital technologies on Political Processes, Digital Natives entering the workplace, Agile work as a new form of organizing. His works (for a list, go on Scholar) are published on journals – among them: Journal of Information Technology (JIT), Information Systems Journal (ISJ), Information & Organization, Government Information Quarterly (GIQ), Journal of Enterprise Information Management (JEIM), Journal of Cases in Information Technology (JCIT), Communications of the AIS (CAIS), VINE The Journal of Knowledge Management Systems – chapters of book, and proceedings.

He has also gained a long experience leading teams through IT-based organizational innovation projects within public administrations and large companies, and he serves as an expert in designing or assessing strategies for innovation of central and local governments.
