Tommaso, habilitated as associate professor, presently teaches Human Resource Management at University of Tuscia (Viterbo, Italy), Digital and Organizational Innovation and Digital Entrepreneurship Lab at LUISS University (Rome, Italy). In the last 25 years he taught Information Systems and Organization Theory courses at the same and other Universities, Schools of management, Ph.D. programs.

His most recent research interests are: Online Communities for collective action, Influence of digital technologies on Political Processes, Blockchain adoption in the Public Sector. His works (for a list, go on Scholar) are published on journals – among them: Information Systems Journal (ISJ), Information & Organization, Government Information Quarterly (GIQ), Journal of Information Technology Teaching Cases (JIT-TC), Journal of Enterprise Information Management (JEIM), Journal of Cases in Information Technology (JCIT), Communications of the AIS (CAIS), VINE The Journal of Knowledge Management Systems – chapters of book, and proceedings.

He also has extensive experience leading teams engaged in IT-based organizational innovation projects for public administrations and large enterprises, and serving as an expert in designing or evaluating innovation strategies for central and local governments.
