Professor Jan Gadeyne presented at the conference Ex Cinere Resurgo, La Forza del Contesto on Saturday, February 12 in Artena, Italy. The conference was held in collaboration with Città di Artena - ArteMusA as part of a larger project to support the region of Lazio's libraries, museums, and archives. Professor Gadeyne presented on the "Piano della Civita, Montefortino, Artena: the Mountain and Town."

Before studying at Temple, McGrath was in the Navy, stationed on a ship in the Mediterranean for 10 months. He spent time in the ports of Gibraltar, Malta, Spain, France, and Greece, but he was home-ported in Naples, Italy. Naples became almost like home to McGrath, being familiar not only with the tourist attractions such as Pompeii, but also local spots such as the brick-oven pizzeria near the port. However, McGrath never stepped foot in Rome before studying abroad with Temple, so the idea of coming in the Eternal City was appealing.

Bernardo Nicoletti, Business faculty member at Temple Rome, will participate in the 5th European Conference of Sustainable and Innovative Public Procurement being hosted in Lisbon on May 5-6, 2022. Prof. Nicoletti will be on the Scientific Program Committee along with colleagues from other institutions around Europe and the United States.
A selection of papers in the Conference will also be included in a special edition of the European Journal of Public Procurement Markets.
It was a big year in the printmaking department at Temple University Rome (TUR). A full renovation of the printmaking facilities was completed in late August just in time for the start of the Fall semester.
