As an Academic Advisor at Temple University Rome, Chelsea West supports students as they navigate their academic journey and make the most of their experience abroad.

An American with a background in international education and educational travel, Chelsea’s passion for international education began during her own study abroad experience at Temple Rome. Her time in Rome sparked a lifelong love of Italian language and culture and a passion for helping others discover the transformative experience of living and learning abroad.

Her career has included facilitating cultural orientation programs for international exchange students in New York, supporting immigrant communities through education and workforce development in Philadelphia, and leading educational travel experiences throughout Italy for American high school students.

A Temple University alumna, Chelsea holds a BFA in Theater (Acting) and Communications with a minor in Italian Language, Communication and Media Studies. After years of working in international education and travel, she is excited to return to Temple Rome and serve the student community that played such an important role in her own journey.
