An extension of Temple’s Student Success programs in Philadelphia, the Temple Rome Academic Support Center offers academic support services and study resources to the entire community at Temple University Rome.
Services Offered
If you’re finding it difficult to manage your workload, your time, or to figure out how to prioritize, we can help you in the Academic Support Center. If you feel that you’re falling behind, don’t wait to reach out.
Not sure how to prepare for an upcoming exam? Feeling overwhelmed by a lengthy study guide (or no study guide at all)? Come to the Academic Support Center early to get help putting together a study plan or reviewing study strategies together. Students should be aware that in advance of mid-terms and finals, subject specific tutoring sessions are hosted. Watch the Plasma Screens for dates, times and locations.
Looking for support with your writing? The Writing Center on Temple Main Campus has virtual appointments available to TUR students. You can make an appointment up to 20 minutes in advance (pending availability), and they also have asynchronous sessions for you to receive feedback on a paper without actually needing to be live on Zoom. You can book all appointments using this link.
We can help with more than just grammar, syntax, and style! Whether you’re preparing a term paper or an in-class presentation, we can help you locate, contextualize and cite the right primary and secondary sources for your research project.
Though availability of this service is currently limited, occasionally we can provide course-specific tutoring for introductory level STEM courses held at Temple Rome. If we are unable to accommodate your request, we will do our best to connect you with relevant online services/resources from main campus.
