Chiara Riccioni earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques from the “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara, her Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychological Rehabilitation, and her Ph.D. in Psychology and Social Neuroscience from “La Sapienza” University of Rome.
She obtained her professional qualification as a licensed psychologist in 2023 and is registered with “Ordine degli Psicologi regione Lazio”.
Her research primarily focuses on socio-emotional development in childhood and young adulthood, with particular attention to socio-emotional competencies in school settings and the role of parenting in promoting children’s well-being and adjustment.
In parallel, she has worked as an educator for social cooperatives, supporting children with autism spectrum disorders through Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and conducting psycho-pedagogical interventions in early childhood and middle school education.
