James Overstreet is an educator, coach, and university instructor with nearly two decades of experience across K-12 and higher education in the United States and internationally. His career has included teaching, student support, program leadership, and university instruction, with extensive experience helping adolescents and young adults navigate periods of academic and personal transition.
 

Originally from Delaware in the United States and now based in Rome, James has worked across educational systems and international school communities around the world. His experience in international education has given him a close understanding of what it means for students to adapt to new academic expectations, cultures, communities, and levels of independence.
 

James holds a Master’s degree in Health and Human Performance in Education, with degrees and credentials spanning health, special education, and physical education. His multidisciplinary background has shaped an approach to education focused on the whole student, including how students learn, develop, build confidence, manage challenges, and become increasingly independent. Throughout his career, James has worked at the intersection of education, mentorship, and student development, helping students better understand themselves, make thoughtful decisions about their education and future, and develop the habits needed to succeed in university and beyond.
