Marco Venturini is the Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of Wanted in Rome, Italy’s leading English-language magazine for the international community, and its sister publication Wanted in Milan. A journalist and communications professional, he has extensive experience in media, public relations, and cultural affairs.

He began his career at Burson-Marsteller, where he worked in corporate and institutional communications, before joining the British Embassy in Rome as Visits Officer and member of the Press Office, overseeing official visits and contributing to media and public diplomacy initiatives.

Venturini holds a Degree in International Economics, a Master’s in International Studies, and a background in Classical Studies. Having lived in Spain and France, he brings a broad international perspective to his professional and academic work.

Alongside his editorial career, he teaches journalism and communication, focusing on how media, politics, and technology intersect in shaping public discourse. His teaching draws on his professional background to blend theory with real-world practice.

He also manages several cultural and hospitality projects in the Sabina region, north of Rome, promoting sustainable tourism, local art, and educational collaborations with international institutions. His work consistently connects communication, culture, and community,  linking the traditions of central Italy with a global audience.
